Beyond her achievements, Mel is an avid animal enthusiast, a devoted mother of six, and a cherished Nan to two beautiful granddaughters. Nature is her sanctuary, whether she's camping, hiking, or tending to her garden. Mel beautifully incorporates her interests into the classroom, sharing these enriching experiences with the children. Known for treating every child as if they were her own, Mel consistently goes above and beyond to support children, families, and her team. We are thrilled to introduce Melanie Aavik, our new Centre Director at Kids Club Hamilton.   With a background as a Kindergarten Teacher and a Nominated Supervisor, Melanie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role and over the past few months, has enjoyed establishing strong relationships with her team, families and children.   At the heart of Melanie's approach is her dedication to nurturing a love for learning in children. Her leadership is centred around igniting curiosity and encouraging exploration, ensuring that every child's journey is marked by growth and meaningful experiences.   When she's not enjoying a caramel latte or quality time with her family, Melanie is an enthusiast for beach walks and exploring hidden gems through her travels.   We are excited to have Melanie be a part of our team, and we are looking forward to the positive impact she will bring to the Kids Club family.
