Centuria has expanded its $3.2bn #retail #AUM with the $70m acquisition of Halls Head Central, #WA. The subregional #shoppingcentre is anchored by supermarkets, Coles Group and ALDI Stores Australia, as well as discount department store, Kmart Australia Limited. These #retailers are complemented by: 🛍 two mini-majors 🛒 50 speciality shops ⛽ two freestanding pad sites 🚗 960 parking spaces ❄ air-conditioning 📡 Wi-Fi 🏀 children’s playground 🍴 generous alfresco dining precinct. In total, 64% of gross income is generated from #nondiscretionary #tenants and the asset attracts 2.4m #customer visits annually. The asset provides a 3.3-year WALE and 100% occupancy. Hall Head Central provides a compelling, #countercyclical #investment opportunity within WA’s second largest city, Mandurah. WA remains a standout state for #retailproperty. Greater Perth’s population has increased by 3.6% throughout the previous 12 months, and when coupled with low forecast retail supply and vacancy, it provides compelling fundamentals. Centuria has #acquired Katunga Fresh’s 21ha #glasshouse #facility within regional, #Victoria, for our open-ended unlisted Centuria Agriculture Fund (CAF). This #transaction increases Centuria’s total #agriculture AUM to $0.65bn and total glasshouse portfolio to +100ha.   The asset was secured on a 20-year triple-net lease. Katunga Fresh is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of tomatoes and has operated from this site for 20 years.
