Once again we have created the Dyson Logistics 2024 NRL Footy Tipping Comp, to put mate against mate and state against state on a weekly basis. Now, in my infinite wisdom, I have gone and deleted the 2023 comp in an attempt to remove the confusion from last year. What I didn’t know was, that it also deleted ALL the members and their details. UPDATE: Industrial action at DP World Terminals will now continue until at least Monday 11 December (extended from Monday 4 December). Please be advised we are seeing significant delays on many vessels with arrival dates changing regularly. We understand the impact this is having on you and are doing all we can to minimise inconvenience. We will keep you updated on any delays as soon as details come to hand.

It's not the news we'd hoped to share with you during this hectic time, but unfortunately, we expect delays at DP World terminals to continue in the lead-up to Christmas due to industrial action. A series of work stoppages and works bans have been scheduled at DP World’s terminals in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle running until at least Monday 4 December.  There are various work bans and stoppages at all four terminals, including several consecutive days of two-hour stoppages commencing at regular intervals three times each day at Brisbane, Melbourne and Fremantle. There are similar, one-hour stoppages in Sydney.   A 24-hour work stoppage is also scheduled in Brisbane starting at 3 pm on Saturday 2 December and in Sydney, there will be two 24-hour work stoppages starting at 6 am on Friday 24 and Monday 27 November. At all the terminals, there are bans on working ships for eight hours after they arrive. We will continue to keep you up-to-date with the latest developments. 

On Friday 10 November, DP World Australia closed its Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle port operations after detecting a significant cyber breach. The interruption has already had a significant impact on the movement of goods into and out of Australia. There will also be industrial action at DP World Ports this week which will add to these delays. We understand the stress this will be causing those who are affected by these delays. We are keeping a close eye on developments and will be keeping you updated.
