Welcome to Verlata community, FDR Law. Congratulations on your successful implementation of NetDocuments. It was a pleasure to work with you. The system was customised to meet the firm’s requirements. This would not have been possible without the dedication from Gina Padmore, Nick Stimson & Mustafa Hassan. The following team members worked hard on this project to ensure the deadline was met and helped with a smooth transition: Rachel Morton, Mike Luscombe, Sari Koskelainen, Steve Broodie and Michelle Smith. #netdocuments #cloudtechnology #changemanagement #legaltech #impementation #lawfirm #dms

Verlata turns 10! It's with great pride and excitement that we get to celebrate our 10th anniversary this week. What started at a kitchen table in Brisbane with just Jason and Steve, has now grown to over 60 team members in 5 countries. We couldn't have got here without the hard work from all our team members over the years and of course, the support of our clients to allow us to help their businesses so thank you all very much. A big thanks to the teams at NetDocuments, Actionstep, CoreMatter, Xakia, Mitimes and VXT for trusting us to sell and implement your software and for your support. On to the next 10 years of solving problems, implementing solutions, and working with amazing people and businesses.

Thanks Selina Trigg, just doing our job!... introducing law firms to software solutions that could improve their day-to-day operations. In this case, Verlata's NZ Director Mark Greenslade bringing Mitimes to the attention of Lighthouse Legal Limited and how it can effortlessly track and record time spent and tracking. #softwareconsultancy #legalsoftware #mitimes #productivity #verlata
I don't usually do product shout outs but the team at Lighthouse Legal Limited just had a training in Mitimes this afternoon and I am in awe of how it takes the pain points out of any time recording that needs doing while being a very user friendly system to use. Thanks Mark Greenslade and Verlata Consulting for the very frank and pragmatic advice to Lighthouse that Mitimes should be "a no brainer" for us! You were right! Kirsten Lolk Rillo, thanks for helping us skip time recording through MiTimes.

Verlata's CRO Kelly Wright was not only in attendance at the 'Future of Midmarket Law' event hosted by Actionstep in Adelaide on Thursday 21 March, but also one of the panelists involved in discussing the 2024 Australian Midsize Law Firm Priorities Report. 3 takeaways from the report that caught Kelly's attention include: Recruitment & Retention Recruiting and retaining strong talent continues to be a challenge and key priority for firms, with aims to improve this in 2024. IT & Technology Deficiencies 41% of law firm professionals at midsize law firms say their firm needs additional investment in IT and technology. That is a really large percentage! Differing, but Valid Views Interestingly, there is a divide between what legal professionals and administrative staff think will help improve their clients experience and overall satisfaction. Legal professionals believe investing in technology will improve client satisfaction, where administrative staff believe better client service will do this. It has to be a combination of both, right?
