In a world seemingly shadowed by the narrative of declining trust, Rachel Botsman offers an enlightening perspective that challenges us to see trust's transformation through a new lens. Trust, she suggests, hasn't diminished but rather evolved, shifting from traditional institutions to a more distributed model amongst peers and networks. This pivot from vertical to horizontal trust distribution invites us to rethink our approach to trust in society and the workplace. Ending the week at the Met Gala-equivalent for the recruitment industry - TalentX 🕺 Normally I’m on stage for an hour or so giving a keynote, but unfortunately the crowd got me for a whole day to MC what was an incredible lineup of speakers, with a crowd favourite being Mark Bouris AM. It’s been a big week, LinkedIn fam. Time to catch up on some Netflix binging 📺

The wonderful team at Saxton Engage helped facilitate this partnership with AGL and Taylor Dee Hawkins to highlight The Net Zero Path for Business. This podcast aims to showcase the role businesses play in achieving a sustainable future and reducing carbon emissions. By collaborating with AGL, one of Australia's leading energy companies, and Taylor Dee Hawkins, an influential sustainability advocate, The Net Zero Path for Business hopes to inspire other businesses to take action towards becoming more environmentally responsible. https://lnkd.in/gbjRW3D Check out the campaign below >> #sustainability #environment #business #initiative #future
As someone who has developed a passion for digging into the details of policies that shape our future, I was delighted to have the opportunity to be part of ‘The Net Zero Path for Business’ which has launched this week 🚀 This podcast - created by the The Peers Project and presented by AGL - brings together experts from across the sustainability arena to share real-world business stories of making positive change towards Net Zero. Across 6 Episodes, I got the chance to dig into the practicalities of achieving net zero for businesses, with leaders who have guided many along this path sharing their tips and tricks for the journey. My key takeaways from this experience? 💡Net zero should be an ambition for all businesses. It is not something to be afraid of, but is also not an ‘overnight’ journey. 💡The path to achieving net zero is clearer than ever before, and there are many experts ready and willing to help business leaders on this path. 💡As with substantial business change, it is important to create a considered strategy that is suited to your specific circumstances. Sadly there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach. It is great to see organisations like AGL taking leadership in this space, particularly after a few years of such significant investment in this journey. Embracing the transformation required for a sustainable future is not easy, but having leaders come together and share their insights and lessons learned helps forge a clearer path forward for us all 🌎 Interested to learn more about the Net Zero Path for Business?
