Changes to WA Audiometry Legislation As of the 1st July 2024 changes were made to the WA Audiometry Legislation to align with the National Standard. To prevent occupational noise induced hearing loss, employers must provide hearing tests for workers who are frequently exposed to noise exceeding exposure standards. New Exposure Standards: · 8 hour equivalent continuous A-weighted sound pressure above 85 dB(A) · C-weighted peak sound pressure above 140 dB(C) Frequency of Testing: · Within 3 months of worker starting employment · Every 2 years following Contact Logic Health to book your companies Audiometry testing on 1300 316 774
