11/14/2015 Elizabeth Quay is a project designed to revamp the city centre and boost Perth’s reputation as one of the most livable cities in the world. The project intends to reconnect the Swan River with city, giving tourists and Perth residents and new and exciting place to discover.
The Swan River waterfront in Perth use to be great place for paddling and picnics, with public baths along the water’s edge. As this wonderful city began to grow in 1940, new development cut off the connection between the river and the city, when Riverside Drive was constructed. With the construction of Elizabeth Quay – the city and the river will be brought together once again allowing residents and tourists to paddle and play.
The development of the Perth CBD has in past always been built on an east- west alignment. With Elizabeth Quay, the city’s focus will now extend the CBD north- south, focusing to the river, together with Yagan Square, the Perth Cultural Centre and a variety of other public and private developments. These projects are adding density to our CBD and expanding our city’s grid.
Although still being a construction site, Perth’s $2.6 billion Elizabeth Quay development will be open to the public in only a matter of weeks, a project that one of Perth's leading recruitment agencies, All Force Labour Solutions, is delighted to be a part of providing a range of high quality labourers and tradesmen.
