Growing your own food can be a really relaxing and rewarding experience. Doesn't matter how skilled you are, how much time and space you have at your disposal, whether you live in the city or the suburbs, growing your own produce is something that everyone can do.
Little Veggie Patch Co (LVPC) started
off as a little company installing edible gardens in people's homes
and raised garden beds, but soon it focused small space gardening and
raising awareness of the origins of the produce we consume.
LVPC released the first range of
heirloom seeds in 2009 which today has over 40 varieties and
continues to expand due to the ever growing demand for heirloom
seeds. Growing and saving such seed is the only way to keep real food
alive and make sure tomatoes actually taste like tomatoes.
Little Veggie Patch Co has also
released a number of best-selling gardening books and also releases a
free monthly magazine called Countryology. Our goal is to bring the
best aspects of country life in the city and encourage growing
better-tasting food locally while also sharing the experience with
 friends and family.
