Arcare Burnside

I arrived here 5 weeks ago from another aged care residence where I resided for over 3 years whilst very ill. I didn’t know what I was missing until I moved to Arcare Burnside! The first day I felt welcomed by all the lovely people working and living here. Everyone is so friendly and I’m so happy. Thank you all.

Our dad William was a resident at Arcare Burnside for 9 months. The care he received whilst living at Arcare was nothing less than perfect. Dad was so happy and comfortable; he loved all the staff. We knew that when we couldn’t be there, Dad was well looked after. The kindness we were shown when Dad was sick was so comforting and we will be forever grateful. We cannot express in words how grateful we are that we were lucky enough to find Arcare Burnside for our Dad. All the staff hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you.

It's got a peaceful, welcoming vibe about it, the staff are great and it always smells pleasantly fresh there.

Dear team,
Leaving my mum for respite for the first time in aged care was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. After moving her into Arcare Burnside, it only took few days to realise my mum is in the right place with the best possible care I could imagine.

From the lady in the coffee shop who made sure mum got her latte the way she likes, to the cleaner who put in flowers so that her room look more homely, to carers who called me ask every little detail about my mum so that they can know her to provide better care. The patience and care staff went to in communicating with my mother (English is her second language) and ensuring she understood and could choose to join in activities is so admirable and almost unbelievable.

When the time comes again, I know my mum will look forward to returning because she had really good time 😊 (in her own words!).

I would like to congratulate management and staff for the best care and services. My daughter has given me a compliment "Mum you look 5 years younger than your age". This is all because of staff management.
I love the food, care and everything in this place.

I am always well looked after. And all the staff are extremely helpful and caring.

Thank you so much to all the carers who have looked after me. Nothing is a trouble to them; they are all so very friendly, kind, and helpful. More like friends than a carer. What can I say about my food? It is just fantastic. The menu is always changed, food is good quality and plenty of it. Compliments to the “Cook”.
Everyone who works here have been so helpful from Carers, Doctors, Nurses, Cleaning Lady, and reception. Thankyou from room 48

A big thank you to Burnside Arcare! My mum lives here for nearly two years, she doesn’t speak English, but she still loves to stay. She said they are very nice to me and have good service.
