About 17 Rocks Chocolate

Established March 2019

17 Rocks Chocolate opened in 2019 as Brisbane’s first stone-ground chocolate factory. We make stone-ground, single-origin chocolate using 100% natural, nutrient-rich ingredients. Our distinctive flavour comes from the fertile volcanic valleys of northern Papua New Guinea, where we responsibly source cacao beans from local farmers. We roast, grind and refine these beans using traditional techniques, combining them with all natural flavours to give you the best possible chocolate experience. Our cacao beans are sourced at fair trade prices from our South Pacific neighbours. Our factory has been purpose-built with a small carbon footprint for low-waste emissions and sustainable energy. Our packaging is 100% reusable / recyclable.
