At BIBA Academy, Here you’ll find a hand-selected team of Award-winning Educators. Our end-goal, at Biba, is to ensure we produce graduates who love being a part of our team, and who can access and maximise their potential to become hairdressing industry leaders. Unlike other Hairdressing Academies in Melbourne, Biba provides a hands-on and practical experience throughout the entire course, whereby students work on hair ‘dummies’ for only 20% of the time. The rest of their training is based on using real people who continually return as actual customers, in our Fitzroy and Swanston Street Salons, because they know that our students have the most highly-supervised situation, and yet a relaxed atmosphere, where it’s both a fun and professional experience. We are Nationally Accredited Providers (as an RTO), and our student-base includes a variety of Australian apprentices, and International students from around the world. Some train with us on a full-time basis, whilst others take the opportunity to complete their courses as part-timers. And then we have ‘already-qualified Hairdresser’ students, who come to us to UPSKILL & REFRESH their abilities, via our Hairdressing Technique Development Workshops (Individualised Training for Existing Hairdressers).
