However, finding a good real estate agent can be a bit more difficult than you would expect, so how can you know if an agent is good or not? The agent that is best for you does not have to work at a large company or to be the most popular one, but he must be good at his job, prioritize your sale, and treat you with respect.

3. Go to Open Houses - By attending open houses, you will be able to meet different agents in their working environment and interact with them without being treated as a client. You can also learn how they treat potential buyers and how much effort they put into selling a property. You can also take their business cards and contact them later on. You should also pay attention to the ways in which the agent is presenting the house that is for sale. Are they being informative? Are they polite? Do they seem experienced? Or are they ignoring the buyers completely?
