It all started in 2015 when Claire Lopez our Creative Director founded us and changed the way staging a home should be done, by being one of the first to offer and coin “Presale Consultation”. A real estate representative and interior enthusiast, Claire thought homeowners would enjoy a more comprehensive staging experience. Happening as it did, Claire’s father died in late 2015 and the family home began the various stages of being transformed into a marketable product – this became an opportunity for Claire to put her Presale idea to the test. Being a new concept it was not without its trials and errors, however she felt like she had hit the ‘nail on the head’, and this was a service the industry desperately needed.

In 2019 Calmnest Property Styling relocated to Melbourne, no longer trading in Sydney the city in which it had been established, the transition felt a bit like starting all over again with a kick start – we started taking on lots of exciting projects ranging from furniture selection, interior design of lobbies, and continued to stage properties that achieved above market averages. In mid-2020 we expanded the company into Perth WA.
