It’s been a while since I’ve picked up a paintbrush, because I found a new obsession: photography. Documenting the connection between couples is now my art.
Beyond aesthetics, there’s something deeply sacred about capturing the unspoken emotions and quiet truths layered within each frame: a look, a touch, a tender smile.
That connection grew even stronger when I had my boys, realising just how quickly time rushes by. Moments I wish I could pause and live in forever—like holding their entire world in my arms, or soothing them back to sleep after a nightmare.
But at least, I’ll always have photos to remember. And that’s my hope for you too: that your photos will help you remember how it felt in each moment of your day. As a child, I loved to paint—from wobbly stick figures of my family to sparkly rainbows, flowers, and animals, with colours smudged across my cheeks, hands, and anything within reach. I still remember the joy it brought me, seeing faces light up with exaggerated “oohs” and “aahs” whenever I gifted someone my latest masterpiece. It was my love language, my way of connecting with the world.
