For nearly 30 years Mobicon has been designing unique Straddle Carriers for the logistic industry internationally and their success continues to grow. The Mobicon is a patented two-tower Gantry Crane or Straddle Carrier of unique design where the container, when carried becomes part of the straddle carrier structure. Mobicon Systems Pty Ltd currently have a large long term contract to supply the US Navy with Mobicons specifically designed for their Littoral Combat Ships program. Mobicons are in use in many industries including, import/export, small ports, mining, customs/border security, logistics, manufacturing, steel and the Defence Forces. Key Customers include TOLL, ARC Steel and Sadliers plus the United States Navy. Mobicon supply clients over the world, from Australia to South Africa, the USA, Japan, New Zealand, New Guinea, Singapore and the UK.
