Noel has been in the industry for over 35 years and was Assistant Trainer at Nebo Lodge for 11 years, he has been training for 15 years. During this time, he is a Group 1 winning trainer (4 times) , 18 stakes winners, the 4 Group 1's: $1 Million Stradbroke Hcp with Landsighting, the $1 million Caulfield Guineas with In Top Swing and the inugural Toohey's Golden Rose in 2003, and he is the first of two trainers to train the winner of the Princess Series with the history making filly Angst who won the AJC Silver Shadow Stks, Furious Stks, Flight Stks and the STC Tea Rose Stks (1993). Noel was promoted to a No. 1 Trainer in 2001 by the New South Wales Thoroughbred Racing Board.

Noel is a hands-on trainer who is readily accessible to all his owners, and encourages owners input. He is involved in every facet of the running of his stable. All clients are most welcome to come and see their horses at any time, please phone to make arrangements.

Angst Lodge is situated at Clarendon near Windsor, New South Wales on 3 acres adjoining the Hawkesbury Racecourse. Our facilities include 30 Large Walk In/Walk Out covered stables, paddocks, a dam for swimming, walking machine, weigh machine, Laser, Ultrasound, and Ice Machine (icing horses that have galloped). At Angst Lodge we are constantly up to date with all the progressive equipment in addition to the Equine Therapeutic Spa.
