The use of liquid fertilizers allows savings in time and labour costs (as the product is ready to use). Liquids are also versatile as they can be applied through irrigation and spray equipment and are generally better absorbed than granular sources due to a variety of reasons afforded by inherent characteristics of the products as well as the various technologies of application (i.e. fertigation and spray equipment).
