Sydney TMS offers transcranial magnetic stimulation treatment to individuals with long term and major depression. Where other traditional methods have not worked, TMS steps in. It is well tolerated and clinically proven to work. Medicare offers a subsidy for a course of treatment provided the criteria is reached. A doctor's referral is also required before booking in for treatment.
An obligation free TMS assessment is provided by one of our psychiatrists given you have a doctor's referral and a medicare card.
TMS treatment consists of one mapping session and a series of thirty-minute treatment sessions. It's a powerful tool used for those with treatment resistant depression.
