Australia’s Electronic Travel Authority is not for everyone Australia’s ETA is only applicable to passport holders from Brunei-Darussalam, Canada, Hong Kong (SAR PRC), Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, and the United States of America. If you’re not from these countries, you have to apply for a different tourist visa. The are other types of online visitor visas are the eVisitor Visa, also known as the EVV, (subclass 651) and the Visitor visa (subclass 600). Eligible passport holders for an eVisitor Visa EVV (subclass 651) are as follows: Andorra Austria Belgium Bulgaria Croatia Cyprus Czech Republic Denmark Estonia Finland France Germany Greece Hungary Iceland Ireland Italy Latvia Liechtenstein Lithuania Luxembourg Malta Monaco the Netherlands Norway Poland Portugal Romania Republic of San Marino Slovak Republic Slovenia Spain Sweden Switzerland United Kingdom and Vatican City. If your country is not on the list for an ETA or an EVV, then you are still eligible to apply for a regular Visitor visa (subclass 600).
