The business known as Trimlite commenced process as Central Coast Fencing in the early 1970's. The name changed from Trimline Aluminium to Trimlite in March 2006 and began engaging Franchisees. In the early days, the business focused on the manufacture of timber, steel and aluminium fencing. Over the years timber and steel were phased out as aluminium was more durable and required less maintenance. It is also lightweight and easy to work with. Trimlite then expanded into the supply and installation of aluminium balustrades to residential customers. In March 1995, the Pilon family purchased the business. At that time the product range was restricted to Aluminium balustrades and pool fencing. From the time they took over, the Pilon's have grown the business through a combination of a strong commitment to outstanding customer service, a move towards low maintenance products and an increased product range.
