Won-Door began manufacturing in Australasia in 1987. Plant and offices were set up in New Zealand where Won-Door manufactured (under licence), supplying DuraFlex and DuraSound aluminium folding partitions to New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands. For over 30 years our DuraFlex and DuraSound model folding partitions have been a trusted solution for area separation (DuraFlex) and acoustically rated area separation (DuraSound).
During the 1990’s Won-Door New Zealand supplied Won-Door FireGuard to numerous local projects. However, in early 2012 we had Won-Door FireGuard assessed and approved by BRANZ to AS1530.4:2014 and FireGuard really started to gain momentum in the Australasian market. Won-Door Australia Pty Limited was established in 2013 and supplies DuraFlex, DuraSound and FireGuard model Won-Door’s to the local industry here in Australia.
Won-Door FireGuard is now a recognised fire separation solution trusted by leading fire engineers and architects in Australia. Notable projects include Lion Nathan Offices in Sydney Olympic Park, Waggawagga Base Hospital and Ultimo Shopping Centre in Broadway, NSW.
