04/04/2011 Ebm-papst is showcasing their EC plug fan, stand-alone EC Controller and EC HyBlade@ axial fan
ebm-papst is an exhibitor at the upcoming
AIRAH Trade Nights in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane.
The AIRAH Trade Nights allow AIRAH members and
other industry representatives to discuss, touch and observe new products in
the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
At the upcoming AIRAH Trade Night in Adelaide,
ebm-papst A&NZ showcase their very powerful EC plug fan K3G250-AV29-B2 being
speed controlled using a temperature sensor as well as the new stand-alone EC
Controller CCC000-AD06-02.
The intelligent EC controller uses simple
analogue speed control protocol and is representative of a typical demand
control system in an air-conditioning and ventilation application. In a
representative application, with the four digital inputs in the EC Controller,
it is possible to (a) remotely
enable / disable the fan (b) run at
summer / winter mode corresponding to
two set-points with the same temperature sensor (c) create a manual
over-ride / emergency mode operation at a fixed speed and (d) set a night mode
speed limitation of the fan.
The integrated LCD display provides easy
operation across multiple levels. This also makes it an appropriate solution
for de-centralised control of ebm-papst EC fans in a large plant.
Also on exhibit is an EC axial fan type
W3G500-CE33-11 fan being speed controlled and monitored over RS 485 using
Bluetooth technology. On demonstration will be the flexibility to program the
fan to (a) open loop PWM control mode whereby the fan responds to an analogue
input from an external potentiometer and or (b) closed loop sensor control mode
whereby the fan responds to a temperature sensor. All of these are achieved by
using the ebm-papst versatile software Fan Control and Fan Clone (which are
embedded in a PDA) using a Bluetooth / RS 485 converter (ebmpapst accessory).
This solution is easy to use and ideal for quick programming of fans,
particularly where multiple fans are to be programmed on the same settings,
thereby making the whole programming process easy and efficient.
The next AIRAH Trade Night will take place in
Adelaide on 07.04.2011 at
Adelaide Entertainment Centre
Corner Port Rd and Adam Street
Hindmarsh, SA 5007
Australia
The cost of these events is free. Please
register ahead with AIRAH.
