The owners of Medtech Mobility Equipment purchased the business in July 2001. The business was relocated to the current position within Toowoomba in January 2002. The owners of Medtech Mobility Equipment have extensive experience in the health industry. In the last 12 years five large suppliers of medical aids in southeast Queensland have changed hands, moved interstate or closed down. This means client history, access to spare parts, and service records are often lost. Over that time Medtech has operated as a local business with a street address, displaying a large and wide range of product. But hand in hand with that also goes a long history of supporting a large area of outback Queensland, making scheduled and regular visits to regional centres. The public is encouraged and welcomed to peruse equipment at its showroom, and take advantage of the knowledge of well trained, experienced staff. In what are often trying and emotional times an understanding human face can make everything a little more pleasant. Demonstrations of equipment are often arranged in clients’ place of abode. Behind the showroom is a well- equipped workshop that provides essential backup to the products Medtech sells. But we understand that not everyone can come to us. Therefore, we encourage people to “visit” us also via our website; our aim is always be to have a knowledgeable staff member to promptly reply to your enquiries.
