About Paris Mode

Established January 2020

Australian accessory label Paris Mode began in 1986 by Madeline Petit and Bernard Thiesson, who shared a vision of bringing Parisian fashion to Australia. Landing on the shores of Sydney, the label hit the ground running and within months Paris Mode hair accessories were stocked in luxury department store David Jones, where they are still carried to this day. It wasn’t long after this that Paris Mode expanded beyond hair accessories to also offer handbags, jewellery, fragrances and fashion, now carrying a wide range of French products. In the three decades since the label’s inception Paris Mode’s dedication to quality and excellence in craftsmanship has not wavered.
