"At Step Up Physical Therapies our hands on treatment is something you’ve never experienced before. This is not your run of the mill massage with short lasting effects. We’ve developed a unique form of hands on treatment from years of treating people in pain. We learnt by listening to what patients need most. Our hands on treatment works because it's gone through a trial by fire. We have followed our passion and desire to help people, experimenting and persisting with every patient until they get better.

A treatment is not just about maintenance or delivering the same treatment over and over again. It’s a focused, sustained effort to learn and understand what is wrong with your body, so we can undo the pain the dysfunction.

Our hands on treatment is unique. It utilizes slow, deep hands on massage to effectively remove any knots, lumps, adhesions, dysfunction and tension within your muscles. You will literally feel your muscles ‘melt’ and release under our hands. We use firm but patient pressure to engage your muscle tissue.This means we apply enough pressure to engage your sore areas, but not so much to force you to brace, tense or fight us off. This allows us to slowly work through areas of dysfunction deep within the body, in areas most therapists haven’t had the time or patience to get down into. Treatment is such a different experience that we don't like to use the word massage to describe it.
