About: Katherine Nelson is an accomplished and engaging counsellor with more than 10 years of professional experience in the field of mental health and specialises in providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.

She is a dedicated, warm and empathetic counsellor who provides a compassionate and supportive environment to promote healing and growth. She is positive, approachable and builds a strong therapeutic relationship with each client, and is committed to developing effective strategies to address a wide variety of concerns. Through exploring areas of worry in life and seeking insight into the underlying issues and impacts, she will help you navigate the conditions that make change for the better possible.

Each session with Katherine is tailored to meet her client’s personal needs. She believes that the client’s individual experience and interpretation of these experiences is the appropriate place from which to advise. She approaches intervention with flexibility and consideration for the context each client brings.
